Student Support Services Presents: Parent and Family Involvement Calendar “Conversation Starters.” Monthly calendars have been placed around the school. All students are encouraged to read and answer the calendar “Conversation Starter” question(s). Take, complete, and return the “Conversation Starter” form to Ms. S. Harrison in room E340 or emailed response to sharrison@richlandone.org. All forms must be returned to Ms. S. Harrison by the last Thursday of every month. All submissions will be entered in a drawing to win the following prizes:

  • Two admissions to the State Museum
  • Two admissions to EdVenture
  • A Scholarship to a Challenger Learning Center summer camp
  • iPod Nano

Richland Library is putting together its very first Teen Talent Show and we would love to have the talented teens you know get a chance to shine! It is for ages 12 – 18 and we are accepting talents of all kinds. Here are the audition dates and locations:

​Auditions:
Sunday, September 21, Richland Library Main
(must arrive between 2 -3 p.m. to secure audition time slot)
Saturday, September 20, Richland Library Southeast
(must arrive between 2- 3 p.m. to secure audition time slot)
Tuesday, September 23, Richland Library Northeast
(must arrive between 6 -7 p.m. to secure audition time slot)
If chosen from the auditions, your students could be performing in the final show at Richland Library on October 30 at 6:30 p.m.
Along with performing in front of their peers and their community, this event also offers participants a chance at winning prizes like an iPad Mini or some cash!
Attached you will find the Teen Talent Show registration form. This has all of the stipulations (solo acts only!) and date and time information. Please help us by sharing this opportunity with the teens you know. 


Career & College Expo 2014

The Eau Claire High School Chapter of the National Honor Society is planning an extraordinary Student Awareness Career/College Expo Thursday, February 26, 2015. If you would like to participate in this event, please contact Ms. S. Harrison with your contact information via email at sharrison@richlandone.org.


Student Debts:
Please be aware that as of Thursday, September 4, 2014 all students were notified of their student debt, and will continue to receive notification throughout the year. Teachers, in an effort to decrease student debt please read the following information to your students:
Please be aware that if you have any amount of school debt you will not be able to participate in the following extra-curricular activities, until payments have been paid in full or arrangements made: (activities include but are not limited to)
o Homecoming
o Pep Rallies
o Prom
o School-wide assemblies
o Student Elections
In the next few weeks Dr. Green will be meeting with students by grade level to discuss their outstanding debt. If you need to make payment arrangements, please see Dr. Green.

the opportunity to request their diploma.
